Our Commitment to Play Safely

We are ready to safely welcome you back into our game rooms. We have new guidelines around social distancing, protocols to help keep our Guests and Staff Members healthy and safe, and enhanced disinfecting measures throughout the venue.

HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURES

Maintaining the trust of our Guests, and continuing to operate safely and responsibly is deeply important to us. To help create the safest environment, we have implemented several new measures designed to protect the health of our Guests. You can read more details about all of these measures in the information below.

Even with our significant health and safety measures in place, an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists when visiting any public place. That is why we are also asking for your help so we can all play safely together. Please be sure to wear your face covering when entering the venue until you reach your game room*, adhere to our social distancing guidelines and, most importantly, stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or are otherwise feeling sick. We will reschedule your game at no charge.

RESPONSIBLE SOCIAL DISTANCING

Six-foot social distancing markers will be displayed throughout common areas, along with a strict protocol of a maximum of eight people per game room to maximize and maintain appropriate social distancing.

HIGHEST STANDARD OF CLEANLINESS

The entire venue is cleaned throughout the day and all common areas are regularly disinfected. Puzzle items, props, door handles and other frequently touched game room surfaces will be disinfected between each group.

STAFF HEALTH & SAFETY

Every staff member is required to have a health check prior to starting work. Additionally, all staff members must follow frequent handwashing protocols, per CDC guidelines.

FACEMASK REQUIREMENTS

Masks are not required for vaccinated guests.

How is Escape Quest responding to the COVID-19 outbreak?

We continue to follow our existing industry-leading protocols, which prepare us for unforeseen events like COVID-19. We’ve made changes to protect you and our staff members.

We have new social distancing guidelines, new protocols to keep our staff healthy and safe, and enhanced disinfecting measures in our game rooms.

Escape Quest is committed to creating an environment where everyone can play with confidence. We ask that you join us in our Commitment to Play Safely by keeping these things in mind on your next visit:

  • Remember to social distance responsibly
  • If you’re feeling ill, save your swing for the next time
  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, please be sure to stay home until you are well
  • Wash hands or use hand sanitizer that is provided in the venue before and after game play

What measures are you taking to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your Escape Quest Staff?

All staff members are required to have a health check on arrival. All staff are required to wear masks at all times, follow frequent handwashing protocols, per CDC guidelines, and socially distance during breaks and meetings.

What is Escape Quest's protocol if a staff member tests positive for COVID-19?

We have proactively developed a protocol for protecting the health of our teams and Guests should a staff member be diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • First, our staff must inform Escape Quest management should they test positive.
  • We also conduct staff health screenings during shift check-ins, which include temperature checks.
  • For the safety of our teams and Guests, if a staff member were to have a confirmed diagnosis or does not pass the check-in health screening, the staff member would not be able to return to work in the venue until meeting current CDC guidelines for discontinuing self-isolation.
  • Our venue management will review work schedules and in-venue camera footage to identify other Escape Quest staff members who may have been exposed. Per current CDC guidance, you must be within six feet for 15 consecutive minutes or more to be considered at risk of exposure.
  • We have communication protocols in place to inform teams should a positive case occur. We will always do this in a manner that respects a staff member's privacy and will not disclose a staff member's personal health information.
  • As part of our Caring Core Value, if a staff member expresses discomfort in working for health and safety reasons related to COVID-19, we will work with the staff member on the options available to them.

Am I required to wear a facemask at Escape Quest?

In all of our venues, Guests are required to wear a facemask in all common areas due to Local or State orders. While not required, we strongly encourage our Guests to wear one while in the game room.
